Mbed CLI app will not run on my MacBook (M1/Monterey 12.6)

I would like to run the mbed cli on my MacBook.

I downloaded mbed-cli-v0.0.10.dmg and installed it on my MacBook. When I ran MBEDCLI.app, I got the following error message: " “MBEDCLI.app” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified." and the program merely exited.

Did I do something wrong? How do I get past this? Is there some way to verify the developer?

I am running macOS Monterey 12.6 on Apple M1
