The result should be a cookbook like Jamie’s for his mbed-cmake.
Mbed is a sophisticated OS, but focus should be also on good usability. I understand the problems with CLI1 quite well, but at least writing and using additional components was easy. The same should be possible with CLI2. I have searched also the mbed-os-example-* projects on github, but all are all-in-one projects without additional external libs.
Arduino or ESP develeopment is very easy to use there, also many of configuration options can be choosen by a config tool (kconfig in ESP32). I hope a similar convenience is on the Mbed roadmap. The world should not be ruled by Arduinos
