Using HAL DMA with mbedOS 6 -STM32F401RE

Hello,
I am trying to implement the use of DMA and ADC via HAL functions inside a project using mbed-os I am using the TIM3 to trigger the ADC at 10kHz. I have tested the correct functionality of my program with the STM32CubeIDE, wich I also used to generate the code needed to setup timers and peripherals. When I tried to copy the main inside a new empty mbed os 6 project (inside mbed Studio), wich already includes the HAL libraries, and I tried to debug it, I noticed that the program crashes right after HAL_Init() and SystemClock_Config(). If I put both of them as a comment I see that the HAL_UART_Transmit() function works, but the ADC doesn’t read any value. I am wondering if it is actually possible to integrate this HAL function and how can I correct it.
The error code shown are the following:
Thread 2 "main" hit Breakpoint 1, main () at ./main.cpp:84
