Using the FRDM-KL25Z to control light

Hi!

I was sitting here with my FRDM-KL25Z and was wondering if I could connect the board to the lamp, and then control the brightness of the light, like the switches on the wall.

Does anyone know anything about how to do this, or is it even possible?
