Cortex A Family

Does MbedOS support or have plans to support the Cortex A family. I know it was designed with the Cortex M processors in mind but will there be additional functionality outside of that? Apologies if this is already apparent and supported

Hello,

  • ARM Mbed development is on hold for more than 2 years. Some development continue only in fork mbed-ce
  • Few Cortex-A9 boards | Mbed from Renasas were supported.

So yes, it should be possible to port Mbed to new Cortex A9 processors relatively easily since the groundwork has already been laid down for those Renesas boards.
